Design
The iPad Air 2 is a lovely device to hold because of its lightweight and aluminum design. At just 6.1mm thin the iPad Air 2 is one of the thinnest tablets ever made. It has a gorgeous 9.7" display with very little bezel making the iPad Air 2 very compact. Its aluminium back is quite slippery at times and can fall out of your hand easily. If you drop the iPad Air 2 chances are that the display will shatter. Although the iPad Air 2 is very thin bending will not occur. Altogether the iPad Air 2 has a beautiful design and is one of the more premium tablets on the market.

Display
The iPad Air 2 has a big 9.7inch display with a resolution of 1536 x 2048. This year Apple has added an anti-reflective coating to the display, dramatically reducing reflection. Apple also has reduced the space between the display and the the back-light making the display twice as crisp clear. The display is very clear and bright making it great for watching movies, Playing games and even reading a book. With almost no bezel the ipad Air 2 has a truly awesome display.

Performance
The iPad Air 2 comes with Apples brand new A8X chip clocked at 1.5GHz. With 2GB of RAM multi-tasking should be simple on the iPad Air 2. The brand new 64-Bit chip is blazing fast. There are no limits with the A8X. Downloading huge files and playing games is fun on such a fast device. The iPad Air 2 also comes with Apples A8 motion co-processor which improves battery while using GPS. The new chips are very power-efficient so you can do more for longer.

Camera
The iPad Air 2 comes with an 8mp camera. The camera shoots crisp clear 1080p video. Not many people use their iPads as cameras but with the brand new camera capturing photos and videos will be a joy. You can now do some brand new awesome video editing on the new iOS 8 software. The brand new SLO-MO mode and Time-Lapse allow you to get the most out of the new camera.

New features
The iPad Air 2 does not have many new features. One of the new features is Touch-ID which allows you to unlock your Ipad with your fingerprint you can also order products online using Touch-ID. The new battery allows you to use your iPad all day long.
Conclusion
The new iPad Air 2 is not a massive leap from its previous model but is a welcome upgrade. Everything the iPad does it does it very well.
