Looking for access to the Internet but don't have a fixed connection, here's the best plans for you.

Vodafone: Broadband on Ireland's Fastest Network
Generally, fixed connections are faster and more reliable than those provided by mobile broadband. Vodafone's 4G network is the largest and fastest in Ireland. If you choose Vodafone for mobile broadband, you can be sure that your speeds will be closer to a fixed connection than on any other network. The speeds available are the most important aspect of mobile broadband, if the speeds are insufficient to support your intended use cases, it is pointless.
Vodafone's mobile broadband offering costs €45 monthly for twenty-four months and includes a free Huawei router. The router is excellent and easily one of the best out there for mobile broadband. Each month you get an allowance of 150GB to use, exceeding the allowance will result in your service being stopped for the remainder of the month, no surplus charges will be applied. Three: Massive Allowance
Three loves to use the term "all you can eat data" across all of its plans, and its mobile broadband offering is no different. Three's plan is the best value for money out there, giving you 750GB for €30 monthly on an eighteen-month contract. Of course, the plan is only great value if you can receive good speeds. Three has never been known to have a superfast network, and research data backs this up. Simply put, Three's 4G network continues to expand but speeds remain awful in many areas due to a lack of capacity.
The plan includes the choice of three free Huawei routers, with the most advanced model being almost as good as the one provided with Vodafone's plan. This plan is perfect for those who use the Internet intensively, such as streaming 4K Netflix and YouTube frequently.

Eir: Freedom of a Short Contract
Eir's mobile broadband plan isn't the best out there and I would advise you to look to Vodafone or Three's plan first. However, eir's plan does offer a shorter contract (six months) which many people would prefer. The plan is really only for people that use the Internet lightly as you get a 50GB allowance. Eir provides a range of Huawei routers to choose from, including the same router provided by Vodafone. However, while this router is free on Vodafone, it will cost you €69 on eir.
Eir's 4G network isn't amazing and falls short of Three and Vodafone. The speeds provided continue to fall as the network is experiencing more demand than it is built to carry. Eir's 4G coverage is good and shouldn't be a major issue for most people, with a claimed 96% 4G population coverage.
