The iPhone 6 was released back in September but we want to see how well it has aged. Has the world's fastest selling smartphone deserved its crown.
Design
The iPhone 6 is crafted using aluminium and glass. It weighs only 129 g and is only 6.9 mm thin. The iPhone 6 has a front glass panel that curves seamlessly to its aluminium sides. It feels gorgeous in the hand. The only two problems with the gorgeous design is that the camera isn't flush with the body making it rock slightly when on a flat surface. Also the plastic antenna lines on the back are an eye sore. The aluminium scuffs over time but time doesn't seem to change the design any other way. Altogether even over time the iPhone 6 still keeps its stunningly seamless design.

Performance
Even over time the iPhone 6 hasn't slowed down and is still as fast if not faster than most of its competitors. The 64 bit dual core 1.4 GHz Apple A8 may sound slow but no way is it. It handles everything you throw at it with ease. The PowerVR GX6450 GPU is amazing. Games run smooth without the need to throttle. The device stays cool which is rare these days. It also comes with an M8 motion co-processor that handles GPS signals and the barometer. This helps to save battery. Altogether the iPhone 6 allows you do what ever you want quickly and for longer.

It shoots 1080p video up to 60fps and can even shoot video at 240fps. The camera has a new technology called focus pixels which allows it to focus faster and closer. The camera has also a very good digital stabilizer ensuring that videos are smooth and photos are blur free. Finally it has a dual LED flash which helps to capture better photos in low light situations. Altogether videos are smooth and clear while photos are vivid and sharp.

Software
The iPhone 6 initially launched with iOS 8 in September. The OS had a rough start with many bugs but with many features.
In June Apple revealed its latest software called iOS 9 which builds upon iOS 8. The software brings a brand new Siri, a gorgeous news app, a wallet app, tweaks to the photo app, Apple Music and more. The new software is also much more efficient adding an extra hour of battery life and in case that's not enough iOS 9 comes with a power saving mode. The software is clean and fast. Altogether the software is one of the strong points of the iPhone 6.

Battery, Call quality and Speaker
The iPhone 6 comes packed with a 1810 mAh battery that struggles to last up to a day when being used. When left in stand-by the iPhone 6 out preforms all the competion. Call quality is good with a loud ear piece that also delivers clear sound to your ear. When calling through the bottom mounted speakers calls are very loud but lack quality. The speaker produces crisp clear audio that is loud. The speaker is not base heavy and makes for a good external speaker replacement.
