Samsung Galaxy S5

The S4 was Samsung's best selling smartphone ever. So Samsung decided to continue their popular S series. One year on from the S4 announcement. This year Samsung announced their new flagship smartphone called the the Samsung galaxy S5.

Build Quality

Samsung usually chooses the same design for its phones year after year. Nearly every Samsung smartphone has been made out of plastic. This year the Galaxy S5 is still made out of plastic but looks alot better. It still is nowhere near to the HTC ONE, SONY XPERIA Z2 and the iPhone 5S build quality but it is a small improvement from the Galaxy S4. Samsung also has made it water resistant which might be very helpful for some people. Even though it is water resistant you can still remove the back cover for battery replacement and for expandable storage .

Camera

16MP camera with LED flash. 4k and 1080p video recording. Samsung claims the S5 has the fastest autofocus in a smartphone taking  just 0.3 seconds to focus. With Samsung's new software taking photos on the S5 should be a joy.

New Features

The Galaxy S5 has lots of new features but here are three of the best ones. The Galaxy S5 is the first ever phone to have a built in heart rate monitor. The Galaxy S5 like the iPhone 5S has a fingerprint sensor built into its home button. Battery low ,fear not because if you turn on super power saving mode and your battery is at 10% Samsung claims it will last a day with this mode turned on. What this feature does is transform your display only into black and white to try and save power.

Pros

Fast speedy experience
Great display
Super battery life
Powerful camera
Lots of features
Latest software

Cons
